Introduced in 1993, by VITA, it is a modification of In-Ceram Alumina. The framework is composed of a magnesium-aluminum oxide which provides improved translucence when compared to In-Ceram Alumina. The translucence is comparable to that of dentin, but comes at the expense of it's ultimate strength.
